Representative Akram Shehayeb affirmed that people have the right to demonstrate, as people exist and the budget is necessary, but the pain of people in the street is much greater, and the evidence is what is happening at all levels in all official departments.

He added in an interview via “Sawt Beirut International”: “The budget could be necessary to re-mobilize sectors in the country during these two months.”

And he continued, “Maybe God would bless us with a president other than this one, who is in Baabda.”
