After that the Judicial Investigator into the Beirut Port Blast, Judge Tarek Bitar, resumed his tasks today, Sheikh Baha Hariri tweeted the following:

“We welcome the return of the judicial investigator, Judge Tarek Bitar, to his duties after he had been excluded for several weeks. We hereby highlight the importance of proceeding with the investigations until the truth is revealed, justice is achieved, and sentence is imposed on all those who participated or blocked the investigation flow.”

نرحب بعودة المحقق العدلي القاضي طارق بيطار إلى ممارسة مهامه بعدما كفّت يده لأسابيع، إذ نشدد على ضرورة استمرار التحقيقات حتى الوصول إلى الحقيقة وتحقيق العدالة وانزال العقاب بكل من شارك أو قصّر في هذا الملف الدموي والتخريبي بامتياز.
