MP Ghassan Skaff indicated in a statement today that “seeking to establish a government with full specifications and powers before the end of the mandate will exacerbate the conditions leading to a presidential vacuum, which is the worst that can happen to Lebanon, and will not lead to protecting the rights of Christians nor the preservation of the first Christian position, but rather it will take Lebanon to an unknown fate.”
