“The conflict that occurred today in one of Spinney’s branches that caused an attack to the Branch Manager in addition to a verbal fight between the employees and a customer who insisted on buying a large quantity of subsidized milk and oil without taking into account the limited quantities available on the market, which must be provided to the largest possible number of citizens in parallel”, Spinneys explained in a statement.

Spinneys expressed regrets for what happened today, affirming that it will continue to ensure food security for citizens equally, calling on those concerned to propose a comprehensive solution to the subsidized goods crisis, in order to avoid similar events related to monopoly and storage.
