A patrol of the General Directorate of State Security in Achrafieh – Pierre Gemayel Avenue, arrested three Syrians and one Lebanese for forming a professional gang to smuggle people between Lebanon and Syria.

The directorate has also seized a car including Syrians without having any document proving their ownership for the car. While searching it, the state security members found identities, passports and documents belonging to other Syrians, in addition to a quantity of hashish, a box containing 45 pistol bullets, cell phones, and a sum of money.

The detainees were handed over with the seized items to the General Directorate of General Security.
