Statement from the Lebanese Embassy in Warsaw for Lebanese residing in Ukraine, wishing to enter Poland

The Lebanese Embassy in Warsaw, Poland issued the following statement:

“The Lebanese Embassy in Warsaw, Poland invites Lebanese residing in Ukraine and wishing to enter the Poland to send a copy of their passport and their residence in Ukraine to the Lebanese Embassy in Warsaw on the following number: 0048664094748 (Whatsapp), before reaching the Ukrainian-Polish border, to enable the embassy to inform the Polish border guards of their names and ease the process of obtaining an entry visa to Poland.

It should be noted that the waiting time at the border ranges between 24 and 60 hours due to the large influx of Ukrainians, which means a long waiting period that must be taken into account in terms of food supply and others.

On the other hand, work is underway to secure shelters for those in need, in addition to securing a plane to transport the Lebanese from Warsaw to Beirut.
