The Progressive Socialist Party Leader Walid Jumblatt, wrote on his “Twitter” page: “A friendly and family meeting in Mukhtara was held today with the Jordanian ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Walid Hadid.”

He added: “Amid these changes and challenges in the Arab world, Jordan’s support is critical to confront the policy of settlement and Israeli expansion on the land of Palestine.”

Jumblatt concluded: “On this occasion, we salute Jordan’s support for the Lebanese army and the Lebanese people.”
