The Syndicate of Hospitals announced in a statement today (Friday) that some banks are lately charging hospitals a 5 percent commission per month from the value of employees’ wages, without any logical justification for this matter.”

The statement added: “The Syndicate rejects this behavior and calls the Central Bank Governor (BDL) and the Head of the Association of Banks to ask the concerned banks to stop this behavior immediately.”

The syndicate said: “Isn’t it enough that they are freezing the depositor’s money and prohibiting them from withdrawing it, and they continue practicing injustice?”
