Tanker Trackers: Iranian oil tanker unloads in Syria to be transported to Lebanon by trucks

Tanker Trackers website announced that an Iranian oil tanker is unloading 33,000 metric tons of gas oil in Syria, to be transported later to Lebanon by trucks.

On the other hand, Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah revealed on Monday, that contacts had been made regarding the ship’s movement, and whether it would come to the Lebanese coast or to Banias in Syria.

He pointed out that some considered its coming to Lebanon as an embarrassment to officials, and we do not like to embarrass anyone.

He announced that the ship arrived at half past eight on Sunday evening, and began unloading its cargo and ended on Monday. The cargo will be transferred into tanks,  and thus, it is supposed to be transported on Thursday to the Bekaa, from Hermel to Baalbek, where the reservoirs are.
