The body of a young man was pulled out and two others were rescued in port of Beirut

Lebanese Civil Defense members rescued two Syrian workers from inside a ship anchored at Beirut port, at four thirty in the afternoon, after they were exposed to gaseous emissions from a livestock feed store at the bottom of the ship, as water leaked into the stored materials from one of the windows, according to the statement.

3 of the workers tried to close the window when they noticed the water leaking inside due to the ship’s inclination to about sixty degrees.

They lost consciousness after inhaling the gases, and two of them were rescued, but the third died on the spot, so the Civil Defense members worked to pull the body from the inside.
