The electoral process has begun… and Mawlawi: Vote for Lebanon

At seven in the morning, the parliamentary elections in the governorates began, in an atmosphere of calm, amid strict security measures taken by the army and the internal security forces.

The regulations were distributed as follows:

Beirut (2 circles)
Beirut I – 6 lists
Beirut II – 9 lists

Mount Lebanon (4 circles)
Jbeil and Kesrouan Districts – 7 lists
Matn District – 6 lists
Baabda District – 7 lists
Chouf and Aley Cazas – 7 lists

North (3 circles)
Akkar – 8 lists
Denniyeh Minieh and Tripoli – 11 lists
Batroun, Koura, Bcharre and Zgharta – 7 lists

Bekaa (3 circles)
Zahle – 8 lists
West Bekaa and Rashaya – 6 lists
Baalbek-Hermel – 6 lists

South(3 circuits)
Saida and Jezzine – 7 lists
Pictures and villages of Sidon Al-Zahrani – 4 lists
Nabatiyeh, Bint Jbeil and Hasbaya – Marjeyoun – 3 lists

With the opening of the polls, the Minister of Interior and Bidyat Bassam Mawlawi tweeted on his Twitter account: “With the opening of the polls, don’t hesitate to vote, vote massively… Vote for Lebanon.”
