“The first payment will be provided in early March,” says Minister Hajjar

The Minister of Social Affairs Hector Hajjar visited the town of Lebaa, where he inspected the registration center of ‘DAAM’ platform dedicated for obtaining the finance card, which was created by the municipality in cooperation with the office and youth of Caritas Lebanon in Jezzine and Lebaa to help families in the town to register on the platform, on the eve of the deadline set by the Ministry on January 31st.

After being informed of the progress and outcome of the registration process so far, Hajjar said in his speech: “Soon we will achieve the hopes of those in need and we will be able to provide them the first payment on March.”

He thanked Caritas in particular and all the associations in Lebanon, for helping the ministry across all territories and serving people with free voluntary work that would have cost us millions of dollars had it not been for its work and help.

Hajjar said that “the second visit will be to lay the foundation stone for development projects, and we wish a development project that will help people and stand by them will be announced.”
