The live of 100 patients in “Beit Shabab Hospital” are in danger

Director of Beit Shabab Hospital, Father Louis Samaha, confirmed that the lives of 100 patients are at risk, and the fate of 110 employees is unknown, while the state does not bear its responsibility.

Since the start of crisis, Lebanese hospitals have begun to suffer from the emigration of their medical staff, first, and then from the inability to easily secure medical supplies, leading to the loss of medicines for cancer and other diseases.

Those concerned in Lebanon warn of the collapse of the health sector, which is no longer able to continue in light of the crisis.

Beirut port explosion marked a downward path in health sector, with damage of 106 health facilities, including 6 major hospitals, which were largely out of service for a while, while the treatment of the explosion injuries increased pressure on the sector.
