The Ministry of the Interior called on all voters to ensure their registration  in the electoral lists

The Ministry of Interior and Municipalities announced the following:

“Pursuant to the provisions of Law No. 8 dated 3/11/2021 aiming to amend some articles of Law No. 44 dated June 17, 2017, including 22, 32 and 34, the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities announces the General Directorate of Personal Status that the primary electoral lists as well as the lists belonging to voters are ready. Those who chose to vote abroad, as CDs containing copies of them were sent to the municipalities, to the mayors, to the provincial and district centers, and to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants with the aim of publishing and circulating them in order to facilitate the final revision.

Therefore, resident and non-resident voters are invited to view it as of December 15, 2021 on the official website of the General Directorate of Personal Status lb.gov.dgcs.www or on copies of the primary electoral lists available in governorate centers, districts, municipalities, and mukhtars and in various Lebanese embassies and consulates abroad, as well as on the hotline at the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities No. 1766, and therefore all interested persons are required to apply, from the fifteenth of December 2021 until the first of January 2022, to the relevant registration committee directly for residents or to the embassy or consulate In relation to non-residents, a request aimed at correcting any defect in his registration in the electoral lists, such as his forfeiting his registration or a mistake in his name or for any other reason, bearing in mind that the General Directorate of Personal Status has issued CDs containing the primary electoral lists for each electoral district, and any person has the right To obtain copies of it in return for an allowance equal to 35,000 LBP.
