The Saudi Royal Court issued the following:

“A phone call was made by Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, French President Emmanuel Macron and Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati, where the latter expressed Lebanon’s appreciation for the great efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and France, for standing by the Lebanese people and the commitment of the Lebanese government to do everything, that would strengthen relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and to reject everything that would harm their security and stability. And it was agreed between the three countries to work together to support the comprehensive reforms necessary in Lebanon. Both Saudi Arabia and France emphasized their keenness on Lebanon’s security and stability
