Head of land transport sector’s union, Bassam Tlais, called on workers and drivers to make Thursday, the 13th, a day of rage that expresses the pain of drivers all Lebanese lands, supported by the General Labor Union, all trade unions and all the affected people.

Tlais congratulated the Lebanese New Year, and added in a statement issued today, Friday: “On the eve of 2022, with the suffering that accompanied the year 2021, where the Lebanese people suffered as a result of the economic, social and health crises and the decline of the Lebanese pound against the dollar, We pledge to you to continue defending your interests to enforce the implementation of the agreement concluded with the Prime Minister to support the sector and implement the law and everything that would protect its workers.”
