Transport unions: We will not rest until government implements what it has committed to

The Federations and Unions of Land Transport Sector issued the following statement:
“Despite the pain and hunger, and your inability to obtain a can petrol and diesel, to maintain your vehicles, and to secure your livelihood to provide for your families. And despite the weather and storm in Beirut and coastal and mountainous areas. You have proven that you are the best in bearing responsibility and defending your interests and rights.
Salute to everyone who worked on implementing the second move today…
Salute to everyone who stayed home for not being able to participate in the car rallies.
Salute to everyone who sits in, whether in a square, a road, and a station.
We will not rest until the government is obligated to implement what it has committed to.
See you next Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at the headquarters of the General Labor Union at ten o’clock in the morning to announce the detailed move that you want, and the government understands.”
