The Public Relations Department at the Middle East Airlines announced in a statement that, in line with the decision issued by the Danish and Spanish authorities after reducing Lebanon’s classification in terms of Corona epidemic spread, it is important for the Middle East Airlines to announce the amendment of travel procedures from Lebanon to both Copenhagen and Madrid, according to the following :
Conditions for entry to Copenhagen as of September 4, 2021:
All passengers must acquire a negative PCR test result that was conducted no more than 72 hours before the date of entry, or make an Antigen test no later than 48 hours before the date of entry.
Or they should be fully vaccinated for more than 14 days (provided that the vaccine is recognized by the European Medicines Agency EMA) then they are allowed to enter Denmark without a PCR examination, regardless of the purpose of the visit.
Vaccines recognized by the European Medicines Agency are: Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen, even if they are administered outside Europe.
Conditions for entry to Madrid as of September 6, 2021:
Holders of a CType visa (VISA) are allowed to enter Spain, provided they possess:
Vaccination certificate (two doses at least 14 days ago) or negative PCR test result, 48 hours before their travel date, and permission to travel from the Spanish Embassy in Lebanon
Citizens and residents of European Union countries and holders of a DType visa (VISA) are allowed to enter Spain, provided they have:
Vaccination certificate (two doses at least 14 days ago) or negative PCR test result 48 hours before their travel date
The vaccines recognized by the World Health Organization and the European Union are: Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen, Sinopharm, Covishield and Sinovac-Coronavac.
