UAE lifts ban on importing Lebanese apple

‎ The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates informed ‎Lebanon, through its embassy in Abu Dhabi, of the decision of the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and ‎Environment to lift the ban it had imposed since 2017 on importing Lebanese apples.‎

The Lebanese Ambassador to the UAE, Ambassador Fouad Shehab Dandan, stated that lifting the ban ‎came as a result of the tireless efforts of the Embassy of Lebanon in Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with ‎the Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture, which set specific standards for farmers and traders wishing to ‎export Lebanese apples to the UAE market, to match the international standards approved in the UAE. ‎sister
