The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates informed Lebanon, through its embassy in Abu Dhabi, of the decision of the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment to lift the ban it had imposed since 2017 on importing Lebanese apples.
The Lebanese Ambassador to the UAE, Ambassador Fouad Shehab Dandan, stated that lifting the ban came as a result of the tireless efforts of the Embassy of Lebanon in Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture, which set specific standards for farmers and traders wishing to export Lebanese apples to the UAE market, to match the international standards approved in the UAE. sister
