Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Rahi, on Thursday welcomed in Bkerke the UK Chargé d’Affaires in Lebanon, Martin longden, who paid him a farewell visit before the end of his mission in Lebanon next month.

The visit was a chance to discuss the simmering situation endured by the country.

On emerging, the UK  Chargé d’Affaires assured that the UK will continue to support and stand by Lebanon.
