The UNIFIL announced this Friday that a “Cambodian peacekeeper was injured during demining works in UNIFIL’s area of operations. He is stable in hospital in Beirut.”

“Our thoughts are with him, his family, & his contingent. Since 2006, UNIFIL has been working to clear landmines & reduce their danger,” said the Deputy Director of UNIFIL Media Office Candice Ardell.
