On New Year’s Eve, an armed clash occurred in Beirut’s Chiyah neighborhood.

A conflict escalated into a gunshot in the Chiyah neighborhood, between the R. family, resulting in the fall of several injuries, some of them were seriously wounded.

In Chiyah, there is a high level of stress due to an armed deployment of unknown reasons.

It’s worth noting that the Minister of Interior, Bassam Mawlawi, has warned against shooting this night, stating that the security forces’ leadership would take harsh actions, including prosecution.
