A virtual meeting has been held today to discuss the feasibility of constructing a grain silo in Port of Tripoli.
The Investment and Development Authority in Lebanon (IDAL) has commissioned the Financial Advisor Samir Nasr and the Director General of Grain Silos in Beirut Asaad Haddad to prepare the feasibility study.
Toufic Dabbousi, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Tripoli as well as Mazen Soueid, Chairman of the Investment and Development Authority in Lebanon (IDAL), and Wissam Fattouh, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Banks, among others participated in discussing the draft report.
The meeting emphasized the importance of the report’s content, stressing the need for taking advantage of Tripoli’s strengths mainly its geographical location and its regional and international importance.
