The Lebanese actor Wajih Sakr participated in the protests that kicked off earlier today across Lebanese regions. From Jbeil region, Sakr told Sawt Beirut International that he completely denies the existence of the President of the Republic, Michel Aoun, and commented on the president’s speech given today during which he promised to solve the problems of the Lebanese: “The President has been making fake promises for four years, and throwing words without any action. Everything is going backward starting with the economic situation to the financial situation. I believe that it’s time for him to resign.”

“I was hoping that Aoun would not hold a meeting today to accuse us of being engaged in sabotage”, Sakr told Sawt Beirut International’s reporter, Ibrahim Fatfat.

“Isn’t the Mar Mikhael agreement an act of sabotage? Isn’t it an act of sabotage to sell your country to Iran and the terrorist Hezbollah ? Isn’t it an act of sabotage to smuggle subsidized products to Syria? What about the Port Blast, isn’t it an act of sabotage? What about disregarding the existence of explosive materials at the Port? Who killed Lukman Salim and Joe Bejjani? We are all aware of the killer of the Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, he who was accused by the international court. Didn’t he try to assassinate May Chidiac? Who killed MPs? The answer is one. We all know the killer who possesses weapons and dares to carry out assassinations: Hezbollah, the terrorist, the Iran-backed party”, concluded Sakr.
