The caretaker government’s Minister of Finance responded to the Governor of the Banque du Liban, Riad Salameh, with a letter sent today regarding the launch of the banking platform. According to the Ministry’s declaration, Wazni has also expressed his willingness to work jointly in order to launch the platform “with the aim of assisting in the stabilization of the components in conformity with provisions of Article 75 of the Code of Money and Credit.”
