President of the Republic Michel Aoun welcomed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Walid Bukhari at Baabda Palace and reviewed bilateral ties and general situations.

Ambassador Bukhari revealed that he had sent a message to the President of the Republic in honor of the upcoming Easter holiday.

He emphasized “the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s eagerness to assist the Lebanese people in the terrible conditions that Lebanon is experiencing,” as well as “the activation of ties between the two countries following the summoning of the ambassadors, which occurred.”

Ambassador Bukhari briefed the President of the Republic on the working mechanism of the Saudi-French Joint Fund for humanitarian support, stability and development in Lebanon.
