“We might go bankrupt after expatriate elections,” says Foreign minister Bou Habib

Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib expressed his satisfaction with the expatriate voting process, which began this morning, saying, “My heart is full” when I saw this scene, and I hope that voter turnout will be very high, reaching 70%.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Bou Habib stated that the elections’ flow is smooth, and that elections are the only way to change things, adding, “We have significantly reduced expenses, and the Prime Minister assured me in terms of securing costs, abut we might go bankrupt at the end of the expatriate elections.”

On the issue of expatriate voter registration, he stated that “there was no failure on our part to distribute the voters to the polling stations, and we could have told them that the distribution would be based on the postal number.”
