“We put forward several proposals and programs, but they were all rejected,” MP Setrida Geagea affirms

MP Setrida Geagea stated that “Lebanon is currently confronted with significant challenges as well as a historical turning point. Either the Lebanon we want will survive, or it will completely collapse, putting its future and identity in jeopardy.”

“We did not miss any opportunity as a group to warn of the dangers facing us, and we put forward several proposals and programs, but they were all rejected, because there are those who do not want a strong state, reform, and accountability in order to remain strong at the expense of the Republic and institutions,” MP Geagea added.

“Samir Geagea was the first to call on the various political forces, including us, to quit and put in a non-political government,” she added, “but they did not consider the proposal.”
