The French ambassador to Lebanon, Anne Grillo, tweeted the following:

“On the occasion of the International Day of Human Rights, we celebrate all those in Lebanon who are working to ensure that everyone lives in peace, freedom, and dignity, and that their political, economic, and social rights are respected. France will continue to assist its partners who work to advance justice, equality, and liberty.”
