The Head of the Parliamentary Health Committee, MP Assem Araji, wrote on his Twitter account that power cuts in hospitals as a result of diesel outages poses a great threat, especially for patients in the intensive care units.

Araji added: “The Ministry of Energy, the judiciary, and the security services must intervene to put pressure on oil companies to distribute the fuel stored in warehouses to hospitals immediately, otherwise we will be facing a health disaster whose chapters will be written by history.”
