Member of the ‘Democratic Gathering’ MP Bilal Abdullah wrote on his Twitter page: “To everyone who considers the moment an opportunity to attack the Progressive Socialist Party, its history, symbols, and role, we say to them that the flame that was carried by Kamal Jumblatt and thousands were martyred for it will never be extinguished.”

He added: “We will flick off the power’s dust from our flags, and our throats will continue to shriek with social justice, secularism, freedom, and progress!”

واستشهد من أجلها الآلاف …
وسننفض عن راياتنا غبار السلطة،
وستبقى حناجرنا تصدح بالعدالة الاجتماعية،والعلمانية،والحرية ،والتقدم !
