The Civil Aviation Meteorology Department expected the weather to be clear, humid and relatively hot, especially on the highlands and inland areas, until the beginning of next week.

According to its detailed weather forecast, it indicated the following:

– General condition: Humid and relatively hot summer weather dominates Lebanon, especially the highlands and the interior regions until the beginning of next week

– Average temperature for the month of August 2021 is between 25 & 33 degrees

-Expected temperatures:

On the coast from 26 to 32 degrees

Above the mountains from 19 to 31 degrees

Along the interior from 19 to 39 degrees

– Surface winds: Southwest during the day, northeast at night, speed between 10 and 30 km/hr

– Visibility: Good on the coast, average sometimes at medium heights due to fog

-Relative humidity on the coast: between 60 & 80%

-Sea condition: Low waves, with water surface temperature at 30°C

-Atmospheric pressure: 1008 HPA, equivalent to 756 mm Hg.

-Sunrise at 06:04 a.m

-Sunset at 07:18 p.m
