Hot masses affect Lebanon with very humid and hot coastal weather, and very dry and hot weather in the Bekaa and the mountains.

These hot masses will continue until today, Saturday, but with a decrease in temperatures in the mountains and in the Bekaa, while remaining stable on the coast with high humidity, which increases the feeling of extreme heat. These hot masses remain within the framework of the regular heat waves that Lebanon is witnessing during the summer.

On the other hand, one should be aware of the danger of fires in the forests, especially in the mountains and in the interior.

Today’s weather details are as follows:

1- The temperature on the coast ranges between 26 and 33 degrees, in areas between 20 and 39 degrees, and at 1000 meters between 19 and 30 degrees.
2- Atmosphere: partly cloudy to partly cloudy with fog formation
3- Winds: Weak northwest, active in the interior and on the mountains, and their speed is between 20 and 40 km/h
4- Surface humidity recorded on the coast between 60 and 80%
5- Atmospheric pressure recorded a coast of 1009 hpa

7- The sea is low, the wave height is low and the water surface temperature is 28 degrees.

Sunday: The hot masses recede and the weather is less cloudy, while the temperatures drop significantly in the mountains and in a limited way on the coast, ranging between 24 and 32 degrees on the coast, 18 and 36 in places and between 19 and 28 degrees at the 1000 metres. As for the wind, it is westerly weak and active on the mountains and the interior, and its speed is between 20 and 40 km / h.

Monday: Normal summer weather, with few clouds to partly cloudy with the formation of fog, while the temperatures drop significantly in the mountains and on the coast and are limited, ranging between 24 and coastal degrees, 17 and 35 degrees and between 18 and 27 degrees at 1000 metres. As for the wind, it is westerly weak and active on the mountains and the interior, and its speed is between 20 and 40 km / h.
