Temperature to rise above seasonal average, with increased risk of fire eruption

Tomorrow’s weather, according to the Department of Meteorology at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, will be partly cloudy, with active winds and a further rise in temperatures, especially in the mountains and interior, where temperatures will exceed seasonal rates, with high humidity on the coast, which will increase the feeling of heat. It also warns of the dangers of fire in forested areas.

In the following days, a hot and humid summer weather will dominate the eastern Mediterranean basin, with temperatures exceeding seasonal rates, especially in the mountainous and interior regions.

Note: (The average temperature on the coast for July is between 24 and 32 degrees, and for August is between 25 and 33 degrees.

Friday’s forecast for Lebanon: There will be a few clouds, and temperatures will be constant near the shore, while they will rise slightly in interior regions and on the mountains, with strong winds.

Saturday: Partly cloudy with gusty winds and a slight increase in temperature, especially in the highlands and interior regions, where temperatures are above seasonal averages. High humidity on the coast adds to the sense of heat and warns of the potential of forest fires.

Sunday: Partly cloudy in general, with temperature rising on the mountains and in interior regions, and the humidity on the coast remains high.

Monday: Partly cloudy, high temperatures (above their seasonal rates) and warnings of exposure to the sun for long periods and the risk of fires in forested areas.
