The Director General of Land and Maritime Transport, Ahmed Tamer, denied what was circulated in some media about raising the price of Taxi from 4,000 pounds to 8,000 pounds.

And he stressed in a statement, “This matter is not true, and any decision in this regard is issued only by the Minister of Public Works and Transport in the caretaker government, Dr. Michel Najjar.”
