French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian stressed the need for the new Lebanese government to start working immediately to implement reforms in the country which is mired in severe economic and financial crises.
Le Drian said in an interview with Al-Hadath, that the government formation was an important step for the country’s recovery. But, he considered that the main challenge it is facing is kicking off work without delay, and that its sole interest is to defend the interests of the people who are suffering from tough conditions.
Le Drian talked about activating serious measures, foremost of which is the recovery of basic public services, starting with electricity.
