Head of the Foodstuff Importers Syndicate, Hani Bohsali, confirmed that the impact of the customs dollar hike’s impact, will not be drastic on food prices, but on about 6 percent of items.
In an interview via “Voice of Lebanon,” Bohsali pointed out that “the exchange rate of the dollar affects the rise in prices more, and we hope that the monitoring agencies will curb the hikes and excesses in prices, especially since we are in a holiday season.”
