Will fuel prices increase in near future?

The representative of fuel distributors, Fadi Abu Chakra, confirmed that “gasoline and diesel are available and there is no problem in the markets,” stressing that “there is no excuse for bakeries not to deliver bread.”

He added via a radio interview: “The citizen is our first concern, and there will be no increase in fuel prices soon, but there may be a decrease, and the issue is related to international oil prices.”

Amidst the complexities and difficulties that Lebanon is experiencing on more than one level, the Lebanese live in a very stressful hardship, deepened by the continuous rise in prices.

Fuel prices are rising daily due to the drop in the national currency exchange rate and the rise in global fuel prices.
The Lebanese economy is suffering from a collapse that the World Bank has ranked among the worst in the world since 1850.
