Caretaker Minister of Information, Dr. Manal Abdel Samad Najd, tweeted this morning on the COVID-19 Delta variant, saying: “The Delta variant has landed in Lebanon. It spreads rapidly and is the most capable of transmitting from one person to another among the Corona variables so far. It is present in at least 85 countries and is spreading rapidly. It cannot be prevented from entering the country, but it can be controlled by means of prevention: a mask, social distancing, and hand washing.”
