The World Bank called on the Lebanese authorities once again “to register and verify the beneficiaries of the ration card and the urgent project to support social safety through ‘Impact’ platform and under the direct supervision of the Central Inspection.”

“There is no better alternative, given the state of the country,” the World Bank added.
