Would Aoun postpone the “negotiations’ table”?

According to reports in the press, President Michel Aoun may decide to postpone hosting the negotiations’ table.

Aoun will finish the bilateral preliminary sessions for the National Dialogue Conference that he summoned at Baabda Palace for the second day in a row, and specified three issues for it: enhanced administrative and financial decentralization, military strategy, and economic recovery plan.

The preliminary consultation for this table began yesterday, Tuesday, at Baabda Palace, through several meetings that brought it together with the head of the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, MP Mhammad Raad, and the head of the “Lebanese Democratic Party” MP Talal Arslan, who confirmed their support for the dialogue table and their response to the invitation if it was decided to be held… However, the head of the Marada Movement, MP Sleiman Franjieh, announced that he would not attend the table because it would be limited to one party, while the dialogue should take place between two different parties, and that he would not accept the invitation to take the photo only.
