The Zahle Electricity Company issued the following statement:

“Since the electricity supply in Lebanon has not stabilized for 40 hours and is currently still completely cut off, and since we were able to secure small quantities of diesel, knowing that the crisis is still without any serious solution until now, and in order to avoid falling into complete darkness like the rest of the Lebanese territories, we can adhere to a specific rationing program and we will continue to feed as much as possible, such as yesterday (two hours of feeding compared to four rations during the day and rotation during the evening).

We thank you for your understanding of this situation completely beyond our control and we will continue to make all efforts required to recharge around the clock. We also hope that you once again take all the information regarding the development of the crisis from our official page only.”
