When “Voice of Beirut International correspondent , Rabih Chnatef, headed to Beit AL Wasat to cover Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry’s visit, he did not expect  the doors would be slamed in his face, and that he would become a persona non grata. He was the one who followed the line of martyr Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, believed in him and his ideas, followed his approach, worked in his media outlet until his last breath, bearing the financial difficulties that the institution went through after the departure of its founder, and despite that he remained faithful to the approach of the martyr, and in a moment he felt a stab in his chest from those who claim to have carried the torch of Rafik Hariri.

How difficult it is to betrayed by those whom you once considered your family, Rabi` who grabbed the micro of “Voice of Beirut International”, which adopted  from the first moment the case of the martyred president, and which is considered a sword hanging over his killers … a persona non grata! As for the “Al-Manar” which is affiliated with a party,  one of its officials accused by the International Tribunal for the assassination of the martyr, the house is widely  opened  … what kind of stances this is ?! The supporters of Prime Minister Hariri, those whose love has been engraved in their hearts, will be expelled, and those who have plotted, planned and carried out the President’s assassination, are welcome !!!

What words could express the pain inflected by this stab in Rabee’s heart, at that moment he felt broken, perhaps he did not believe at first what his ears has heard , how could he believe and he was the voive of  “Future” for years,  had been silenced, only because today he moved to a media outlet that carried a banner Stripping “Hezbollah” and conveying the voice and pain of the people. What sin did Rabie and the media he works for with its team, has committed  to prevent him from entering Beit AL Wasat? Is he involved in the President’s assassination ? Did he give the order to invalidate Beirut on May 7? Does he stand behind the severing of the Gulf states’ relations with Lebanon? Did he participate in others’ wars and kill innocents? Did he hide the ammonium nitrate in the port ? Does he have a hand in the rise of the dollar exchange rate and the arrival of the country to collapse?

The least to say of what happened with Rabeeh, is “shamefull”. This is not how those who were faithful  to the martyr’s approach will be rewarded. This is not how Rafik Hariri’s loyals are treated!
