Hassan: Regulatory situation at Rafic Hariri Airport is very good

Head of Beirut International Airport, Fadi al-Hassan, indicated that we receive at the airport between 11,000 to 12,000 passengers per day, most of whom are Lebanese, in addition to Iraqis.
Hassan pointed out via a radio interview, that “the result of the PCR test, is issued between 24 and 48 hours, and with the new mechanism, the result is supposed to reach the passengers within 24 hours.” Considering that the regulatory situation at Beirut airport is very good
It is worth mentioning that Hassan has previously indicated that “it is not logical to ask the airlines, that the money be transferred to us as “Fresh Dollars” because we have a crisis in the country,” considering that “they are not required to do so, because we did not force them to pay the money in “Frash Dollars,” at the beginning of our adoption of the mechanism for paying examinations in cooperation with the Ministry of Health.”
And via a television interview, Hassan stated that “We have taken the possible measures, to prevent falsifying the results of the “Corona” examinations, and we are trying to avoid quarantining passengers in hotels, because there was no commitment,” explaining that “when there is crowding at the airport, some procedures are not applied as it should, and we are betting on the responsibility of the passenger, in addition to the airport workers,” pointing out that the passengers should know, that there are procedures they must abide by at the airport.
