The Banque du Liban announced that it will put into circulation a new banknote of five thousand Lebanese pounds, signed by the Governor of the Banque du Liban, Riad Salameh, and the First Deputy Governor of the Banque du Liban, Wassim Mansouri. The new banknotes will be put into circulation alongside the notes currently in circulation of the same denomination.
