Alan Sarkis: Shiite duo supports Tayyar in Zahle and provides Michel Murr with 1500 votes in Metn

Head of the “Marada” movement, Suleiman Franjieh, landed in Moscow for a quick and surprising visit in its timing and significance. Franjieh met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who represents the head of Russian diplomacy. During the meeting, the topic of the hour, ie the Russian-Ukrainian war, was presented. Regarding the Lebanese file, Franjieh heard positive talk about Lebanon, as the Russians confirmed their adherence to holding the parliamentary elections on time and not allowing them to be postponed. Franjieh came out satisfied from his meetings, but what was new, and was revealed in Moscow, is that his internal situation is very good, and he hinted that he had received sufficient support from his political team, headed by “Hezbollah”, that he would be the team’s presidential candidate in the upcoming presidential elections, and not the head of The Free Patriotic Movement, Gebran Bassil. To shed light on this topic, we were joined by journalist and political writer Alan Sarkis.
