Amid fears over Ukraine, and in light of US expectations of an imminent Russian invasion to the country, the United States is busily preparing and sending military equipment to Kyiv in successive batches.

Washington has roughly put 8,500 American troop on heightened alert and sent 3,000 of them to Poland to reassure NATO members.

It also deployed B 52 H strategic launchers capable of carrying nuclear bombs in Britain.

In addition, the United States transferred F-16 aircraft from Germany to Ukraine to enhance regional security, and sent 4 destroyers to the American Sixth Fleet, in anticipation of any possible Russian war on Ukraine.
