From Tripoli, the capital of north, Bahaa Hariri appeared to citizens and activists through zoom, where he indicated that Beirut Port explosion brought him back in time to the moment of the martyrdom of his father Rafik Hariri.
He stressed to the audience at Sawa Li Lubnan office in Tripoli that one of the most prominent principles of this movement is to confront corruption.
Regarding the parliamentary elections, Hariri indicated that change begins at the ballot box.
As for Tripoli, the city that has been marginalized by its leaders for many years, Bahaa Hariri emphasized that the north and the Sunni sect as well as the entire Lebanese will no longer be marginalized, and that this city had a special honor for the martyred Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
Social assistance and job opportunities were major part of Hariri’s speech, who stressed that his duty today is to stand by the Lebanese people who are suffering.
At the end of the meeting, the attendees observed a minute of silence in honor of the spirit of martyr Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
