Between keeping pace with the covenant, and Sunni anger… Will Prime Minister Najib Mikati resign?

The red line that was under the name of the Governor of Banque du Liban, Riad Salameh, was withdrawn by Prime Minister Najib Mikati in agreement with the President of the Republic, Michel Aoun and with it, the journey of searching for salameh was launched by the Covenant and succeeded by the Free Patriotic Movement, and its judge, Ghada Aoun.
Mikati did not realize the fact that this campaign against Salameh is the last weapon that the Orange Era will use to improve its popular and electoral conditions.
As for Mikati’s awareness of the Covenant plans, it came after Judge Ghada Aoun summoned the Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Imad Othman, to be heard on charges of obstructing the tasks of the State Security Service regarding arresting Salama.
It is known that Othman will not appear before Judge Aoun. So, will Mikati go to the Presidential Palace in an attempt to calm the situation, and thus the country will witness a new Mikati, Bassil deal?
And if the covenant insists on continuing the confrontation, will Mikati announce his resignation to save face with the Sunni sect?

So, with few months away from the elections, the country is on the verge of new concessions and alliances, will we witness transforming Sunni voices to the interest of his partner Basil in the north, in the event that deals are made?
