As Lebanon needs internal financing, we must be self-sufficient without resorting to printing money, because this will lead to financial inflation. This is what the Chairman of the National Economy, Industry and Trade Committee, MP Farid Al-Bustani, said during a session held by the Economy Committee, during which the fiscal impact of the budget on economic growth was discussed. The Minister of Labor, Mustafa Bayram, launched a platform for companies’ registration, employment of workers and combining offers and requests to secure the Lebanese workforce, on the ministry’s website and electronic application.
Informed sources told “Sawt Beirut International” that more than a thousand Lebanese job applicants are registered on the platform, as well as more than a hundred companies are seeking workers and employees. Minister Bayram urged young men and women to get into the platform and to register their names and the jobs they desire, noting that the follow-up mechanism with companies is available by the ministry and the goal is to protect the Lebanese worker.
